Interview with Karl Bösmann

Andy: With regards to your music, where does your musical insperation come from? Is it spontainious or do you have a concept in your head?

KB: When I work alone I have foundation to work with in which I can brodan and expand my outlooks and passion in music alowing me to expand  my creativity with the use of the appropriate instuments that fit the moods and feelings at that moment

Andy: With what instuments do you play?,stone? steel? I mean" things that you find"?

KB: Besides guitar, bass ,drums and vocals and the finer instuments such as trumpet, violin, akkordion, xylophone etc etc I also use articles such as (on the track "Beben") dish drying rack which was previously part of my kitchen.....so really anything that takes my inspiration.

Andy: What influences play a part in your life and in the music that you make?

KB: It makes me throw up when I hear the whole world bitching and moaning and complaining about eveything going on ..hey I mean I'm not saying the sun shines out of my arse and i don't do it myself from time to time but I think a lot of my insperation come from these feelings in life also other musical influences in the last five years are Yyannis Xenakis, Hermann Nitsch, Nurse with wound, Ruins, Dillinger ascape Plan, Ghedalia Tazartes, Aube, David Jackman, Amm, and many more.......

Andy: Thanks for the short statement.
